Funds raised are used exclusively to cover venue operating costs (rent, insurance, security, staffing) in furtherance of the organization's exempt purpose. Tax-deductible giving is pending fiscal-sponsor confirmation — we'll share the details here as soon as they're finalized.
How funding reaches us
Accepted funding channels.
StageFound is supported through three standing channels — every dollar flows to the same operating-cost line items above.
- Grants. Restricted awards from organizations that fund live music rooms. See the active grant pipeline.
- Public donations. Direct contributions from individual supporters who want to keep the stage free.
- Door contributions. Voluntary audience contributions at the door and a share-of-door nights hosted with partner rooms.
